Criminal Practice
An AI-assisted workspace for criminal advocates in India
iAdvocate keeps a criminal matter in one place, from the client and the FIR through to the next hearing. Each tool works from the same matter, so you do not re-enter the case for every task.
What you can do in iAdvocate
Criminal Practice is available in beta. These are the main tools:
- Keep clients and matters together, with every saved item attached to its matter
- Read an FIR and see the sections cited and the points to examine
- Build a case theory in stages, pausing to reframe or add evidence
- Work through a bail grounds checklist
- Prepare for a hearing from the matter record
- Bring in a case’s details from eCourts India using its CNR number
- Search BNS, BNSS and BSA sections and court judgments
- Convert between IPC and BNS section numbers
The advocate stays in charge
iAdvocate assists with reading, organising, researching and alerting. It does not replace an advocate’s judgment. You verify the facts, law, citations and strategy, and details taken from a court record are offered for you to accept rather than written in silently.
Civil and corporate work
Civil Practice and Corporate Practice are in development and will be announced when they are ready for use.
